Who we are
PursuitCheck is a UK-based beta business service helping organisations assess whether tender and procurement opportunities appear worth pursuing. You can contact us at hello@pursuitcheck.co.uk.
What information we collect
When you submit a Pre-Bid Check request, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, company, business email address, the tender or procurement link, and any additional information you choose to include. We may also process technical security information needed to protect the form from abuse.
Why we use it
We use your information to review and respond to your enquiry, assess the opportunity you have asked us to consider, communicate with you about the check, maintain an appropriate record of the request, and protect the service from abuse or security threats.
Our lawful basis
Where you ask us to provide or consider providing a service, we may process personal data because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. We may also rely on our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the PursuitCheck service where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
Who processes the information
The website is designed to use Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting, security and server-side form processing, and Microsoft 365 for business email and operational handling. We do not sell the information submitted through the form.
How long we keep it
During beta, enquiry and check records will normally be retained only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide the requested service, maintain business records, resolve issues and evaluate the beta. We will review and formalise retention periods as the service moves beyond beta.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights including access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, email hello@pursuitcheck.co.uk.
Your right to object: where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object to that processing in appropriate circumstances.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Automated decisions
PursuitCheck is designed as decision-support for businesses. The beta does not make solely automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Cookies and similar technologies
The beta site is intentionally designed without advertising or behavioural analytics cookies. Security technology such as Cloudflare Turnstile may process limited technical information needed to protect the form from automated abuse.

We may update this notice as the beta evolves. The current version will be published on this page.
